Milk futures down, cash dairy mostly lower

Chicago Mercantile Exchange Class III milk futures were lower. June was down $.08 at $24.34 and July dropped $.33 to $24.62, while August fell $.32 to $24.65 and September was down $.26 at $24.58.

Cash dairy business was mostly lower. Cheese barrels were $.06 and ¼ lower at $2.24 and ¼ and blocks were down $.02 at $2.25 and ½. Grade A nonfat dry milk was $.01 and ½ lower at $1.85 and ½ and Double A butter was down $.02 and ½ at $2.97 and ½.
