More Midwestern states eligible for Cargill’s RegenConnect Program

Cargill is expanding its voluntary carbon program to 15 states this year.

Sustainability lead Nathan Fries tells Brownfield Cargill RegenConnect can help farmers capture more profitability from regenerative agricultural practices like cover crops and no-till while participating in the carbon marketplace.

“We expect over time that they’ll receive enhanced soil health benefits also, such as improved water absorption and drought tolerance on their soils, and increased yields as studies shows,” he says.
