Nancy Ruth Crow, 81, of Ursa, Illinois, passed away on Friday, April 24, 2026, at Hannibal Regional Hospital in Hannibal, Missouri.

Nancy was born on May 12, 1944, in Keokuk, Iowa, the daughter of Elva and Ruth (Adair) Andrew. She graduated from Unity High School in 1962, and in 1963, she was united in marriage to Larry Crow in Mendon, Illinois. He survives.

A member of the Catholic faith, Nancy was a dedicated wife and mother who always put her family first. Her Christmas gatherings were always packed with family and overflowed with made-from-scratch cooking that couldn’t be rivaled. She would pick her own pecans for her famous turtles, one of her many Christmas candies the family adored. In conversations with others, she was known for taking a “no filter” approach to honesty. When she wasn’t doting on her family, Nancy enjoyed relaxing with a good western book, painting ceramics, solving puzzles and keeping QVC in business. She also curated a world-class collection of roosters and chickens. Her loving and caring spirit will be missed by all.

Nancy is survived by her husband Larry Crow of Ursa, Illinois; five children: Cyndi (Shane) Hussey of Basco, Illinois, Jeff (Pam) Crow of Warsaw, Illinois, Tom (Shelby) Crow of Liberty, Illinois, Brad (Bernadette) Crow of Richmond Hill, Georgia, and Randy (Nichol) Crow of Chesapeake, Virginia; three siblings: Karen (Joe) Nolan of Jacksonville, Illinois, Dean Andrew of St. Paul, Minnesota, and Neil (Jane) Andrew of Ursa, Illinois; and eleven grandchildren: Trent (Laura) Woolson, Tylor (Sarah) Woolson, Corrine Crow, Taylor Crow, Lexi Crow, Nolan Crow, Kitura Crow, Cole Manning, Katelyn Manning, Gavin Southerland and Bronson Crow. Other survivors include several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Nancy is preceded in death by her parents, her brother Keith Andrew and her sister Janet Hilgenbrinck.

A memorial service will be held at 7 pm on Monday, April 27, 2026, at Printy Funeral Home in Warsaw, Illinois. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 4 to 7 pm on Monday, April 27, directly before the service.

Memorials may be directed to Toys for Tots in honor of her love for Christmas.
