Patrick Feil

Patrick Feil, 67, was born in Keokuk and lived in Burlington for the past 15 years. Daniel Patrick (Pat) Feil was born in August of 1957 to Jack and Evelyn Feil of Keokuk, who preceded him in death.
Patrick passed away on Sept. 29, 2024.
He is survived by his wife Carrie of 40 years, two stepdaughters, Linda Peacher and Chris Nelson; three grandchildren, Brittany, Andrew, and Cole; four great-grandchildren: Wyatt, Parker, Addalynn, and Liam; his brother Michael and wife Virginia; a niece Jessica; and a nephew Timothy.
Patrick loved watching the Iowa Hawkeyes and was intent to see as many NASCAR races as possible. His memory for trivia for those sports was astounding. His love of dogs was a long-time obsession. He had many discussions with his dog Sam as to whose turn it was for the TV chair. He raised and trained several German shepherds to be his family’s best friends. He will be remembered as an avid conversationalist and close friend to those he met.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at 1 pm on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at Wells-Carey School, 918 Timea Street, Keokuk, Iowa.
