Ralph “Tony” Elmore

Ralph “Tony” Elmore, 67, of Fort Madison, IA, passed away on Wednesday, July 15, 2026 at 3:33 PM at the Southeast Iowa Regional Hospice House in West Burlington.

He was born on March 15, 1959 in Iowa to Herbert and Elsie “Pat” Schroeder Pennock. Tony was self employed and was a landscaper and commercial fisherman. He was a highly skilled carpenter and built a replica of the Old Fort. He loved to collect memorabilia, especially old tins, toys and geodes. He also made homemade wine and it was enjoyed by many. Most of all, Tony had a kind heart and was known for his honesty, especially by the Rashid Drug family.

Survivors include two sisters, Audrey Queen of Kahoka, MO and Brenda Martin of Belle Plaine, IA; nieces and nephews. Tony was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Kimberly Boe.

Cremation has been entrusted to King-Lynk Funeral Home and Crematory. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2026 from 6-8 PM at the Eagle Bluff Community Room, 2803 Avenue A, Ft. Madison. Online condolences may be left at www.kinglynk.com.
