Robert James Pullins

Robert James Pullins, 63, of Carthage, IL, passed away on Friday, June 26, 2026, at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, IL.

Robert was born on September 19, 1962, in Carthage, IL. He was the son of E.J. and Freda (Jackson) Pullins. He graduated from Southeastern High School. Robert went on to drive a truck for most of his career. He enjoyed life on the road but being a father was his greatest gift. He was always there for his kids. Robert enjoyed his dogs as well. He liked to play golf and watch football, especially the Dallas Cowboys. Robert had a loving spirit and treated everyone the same regardless of where they came from. He will be missed deeply by his loved ones.

Robert is survived by his children, Christopher Pullins, Nicholas Pullins, Breeann Pullins, and Alexis Pullins; his mother, Freda Pullins; and his siblings, Eldon (Darla) Pullins, and Christine (Loren) Woodbury.

He is preceded in death by his father, E.J. Pullins, and his grandson, Tyler James Curfman.

A funeral service will be held at 5pm on Thursday, July 2, 2026, at Printy Funeral Home in Carthage. A visitation will be held prior to the service starting at 3pm. Memorials may be made out to the Hearts of Hancock Humane Society. Printy Funeral Home is providing arrangements.
