Sheryl “Sherry” Harrison, 65 of Kahoka passed away, January 3, 2025 at the Lewis County Nursing Home in Canton, MO.
She was born April 10, 1959 the daughter of Lewis and Virginia Parrish Edlen. She was united in marriage to David Harrison. They later divorced but remained close friends.
Sherry had a vibrant and creative spirit that shone through her many hobbies. She loved spending time on arts and crafts projects, where she could express her creativity and share her talents with others. She found joy in watching old TV series like Seventh Heaven and Little House on the Prairie. She enjoyed hosting family BBQs, where her she could enjoy the company of her family and friends. She also enjoyed relaxing with coloring pages, which gave her a peaceful outlet. One of her greatest joys was spending time with her great-nephew Ivan, whose presence always brightened her days. Additionally, Sherry deeply cherished the companionship of her beloved four-legged friends, who were a constant source of love and comfort in her life.
She is survived by her son, Loren Harrison of Warsaw, a sister, Carol McCarty of Keystone Heights, Fl, niece and nephews Stephenie Anastassiadis, Milton McCarty and Wayne Edlen, along with great nieces and nephews, George Anastassiadis, James Anastassiadis, Stephen Anastassiadis, Mary Anastassiadis, Ian McCarty and Ivan Gregory and many cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Steve Edlen, a niece, Jennifer Gregory and a brother-in-law, Steve McCarty.
Per Sherry’s wishes there will be no visitation or formal service. Cremation rites have been accorded at the Vigen Memorial Home.
Memorials may be made to the Vigen Memorial Home to assist the family in final expenses.
