Steven Hessley, 67 of Kahoka passed away Saturday, February 24, 2024 at the LaBelle Manor in LaBelle, Missouri.
He was born February 4, 1957 in Ferguson, MO the son of Clarence Richard “CR” and Myrta Elizabeth Hamilton Hessley.
Steven graduated from Hazelwood Central High School with the class of 1973.
He was employed with A & E Factory Service as an appliance technician for over thirty years until his retirement.
Steven was an avid bowler, finding camaraderie and competition on the lanes. Additionally, he cherished the tranquility of hunting and fishing, appreciating the beauty of the outdoors.
He is survived by three sons, Chris Hessley (Charlotte), James Hessley (Haylie), and Thomas Hessley (Jessica) all of Kahoka, seven grandchildren, CaLea Powell, Brynlee Hessley, Maci Hessley, Chloe Hessley, Braylee Hessley, Madelynn Hessley and Payton Hessley and one great grandson Silas Skog. He is also survived by two sisters, Kathy Aldridge (Michael) of Williamstown, MO and Sally Eckert (Carl) of Troy, MO, one aunt, Diane Hamilton and an uncle, Terry Hamilton.
He was preceded in death by his parents and an uncle, John Hamilton.
A gathering of remembrance will be held from 5 – 7 p.m., Thursday, February 29, 2024 at the Vigen Memorial Home in Kahoka with the family meeting with friends at that time.
Memorials may be made to the Vigen Memorial Home for funeral expenses.
