Study shows savings when using E15

A recent study shows consumers saved an average of 27 cents per gallon when using E15 ethanol blends in their vehicles. 

The study uses data from the Renewable Fuels Association collected from more than 15 hundred customers who reported E10 and E15 prices to a website, E15prices.com. 

The Renewable Fuels Association report says 52% of the price reports came from Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, and South Dakota, where 44% of the E15 retailers are located.
