STX acquires Missouri Prime Beef Packers

Texas-based STX Beef Company has purchased Missouri Prime Beef Packers, a 750 head per day facility in Pleasant Hope.

In a press release, STX says it’s immediately taking over operations. CEO Terry Maul says Missouri has a thriving beef industry and the acquisition will help STX increase capacity.

STX currently operates a 250,000 square foot facility that processes over 1,000 head of cattle per day in Corpus Christi.
