The 2022 Illinois Performance Tested Bull Sale held during the Illinois Beef Expo averaged $4,372 on 46 lots, the third highest average in the sale’s history. Live cattle futures lower ahead of On Feed report

Soybeans were sharply lower on profit taking and technical selling, pulling contracts lower for the week. The Russian invasion of Ukraine was ongoing during Friday’s session, but beans sold off with spillover from bean meal, vegetable oils, and crude oil.
