Nebraska reports 7th case of HPAI

The Nebraska Department of Agriculture has confirmed the state’s seventh case of Highly Parthenogenic Avian Influenza. NDA and USDA’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) confirmed the virus on a farm in Knox County with a flock of over 2.1 million laying hens. USDA’s 2021 annual dairy product report shows how production has shifted with more foodservice demand following the start of the pandemic.
