Teresa was known for her exquisite handwriting, a skill that added a personal touch to every card and note she wrote. Her home was her sanctuary, always immaculate and welcoming, especially on “Grammy Fridays,” and holidays when the laughter of her grandchildren filled the air. Teresa relished the company of friends and family, often engaging in spirited games of euchre, rummy, and king’s corner, which were among her favorites.

An amazing cook, everyone loved her homemade recipes, especially her casseroles, and fried bread dough being the stuff of family legend. Teresa’s fruit salsa with cinnamon tortilla chips was a testament to her creative flair in the kitchen. Teresa enjoyed crafting, Christmas ornaments and stained glass or immersing herself in romance novels with Pepsi in hand.

Teresa’s adventurous spirit led her to explore the beauty of Hawaii, Puerto Vallarta, Belize, and the Ozarks. She was a good singer and expressed her zest for life through music, from oldie love songs, classic rock, Christian music, or adoring the Judds. Known for many heartfelt sayings, one being, “Wow,” echoed her vibrant personality and will be remembered fondly.
