Terry Lewis Glisan

Terry Lewis Glisan, 53, of Carthage, IL, passed away on Monday, March 17, 2025, at St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL.

Terry was born on August 31, 1971, in Galesburg, IL. He was the son of Leon Glisan and Janet Hoffman. Terry graduated from Carthage High School in 1990. Terry worked in construction in his early years as a carpenter for local contractors.  He spent the past 15 years with the ECS and most recently, managing Truck Wash II. Terry was known for his sense of humor and boisterous laugh. Terry liked to go fishing and read a good book. He enjoyed watching football and most of all, spending time with his family.

Terry is survived by his daughter, Katelyn Glisan of Carthage, his mother, Janet Hoffman of Carthage, his siblings, Tammy Potts of Abingdon, IL, Tim Glisan of Macomb, IL, and Teresa (Travis) Smith of Carthage, IL and nine nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father, his sister, Lisa Jane, and his grandparents Jake and Hilda Huls and Elmer and Ada Glisan.

A visitation will be held from 9 – 11am on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at Printy Funeral Home in Carthage with burial to follow at Immanuel Lutheran Church Cemetery in rural Carthage. Memorials may be made out to the family of Terry Glisan. Printy Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
