Tina L. Summers, 53, of Keokuk, Iowa, passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center in Fort Madison, Iowa.

Tina was born on July 23, 1972, in Keokuk, Iowa, the daughter of Harvey “Skip” Gipe, Jr, and Patty Joan Coovert. She graduated from Hamilton High School in 1990 and went on to work at Hollister-Whitney Elevator Corporation in Quincy. On November 14, 1998, she was united in marriage to Chris Summers in Keokuk, Iowa. He survives.

Tina loved horses and dogs, but her true love was her family. Her daughter Jenna was her pride and joy. For many years, one of her favorite activities was Sunday lunches at her grandparent’s house. Tina was an avid motorcycle rider and recently took part in three motorcycle world records: Most biker women rolling in motion in parade formation, most biker women at one women’s conference event and most biker women on the longest parade ride of thirty-one miles.

Tina is survived by her husband Chris Summers of Keokuk; her daughter Jenna Summers of Keokuk; her brother Michael “Mike” Gipe of Keokuk; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Tina is preceded in death by her parents and her infant son Dylan.

Visitation will be held from 2 to 5 pm on Sunday, July 5, 2026, at DeJong-Printy Funeral Home in Keokuk. A memorial service will be held at 5 pm on Sunday, July 5, at the funeral home directly following the visitation. Following the service, a memorial motorcycle ride will depart from the funeral home to the Southside Boat Club.

Memorials may be directed to the family for a memorial fund.
