Year-round E15 bill to be heard on House floor this week

Legislation to create a permanent pathway for year-round E15 could be heard on the House floor as early as Thursday.

American Coalition for Ethanol CEO Brian Jennings says the bill would extend Reid Vapor Pressure relief to ethanol blends above E10.

“So that would include E15. It’s actually language from bipartisan, bicameral legislation that had previously been introduced in both the Senate and the House, so we’re looking forward to that potential opportunity.”

Speaking to Brownfield from the Fuel Ethanol Workshop in Minneapolis Tuesday, he says Congress provides the cleanest path to ensuring year-round E15.
