ODA, OSU say plant tissue from East Palestine-area crops is not contaminated

Plant tissue from crops in East Palestine, Ohio is not contaminated with “semi-volatile organic compounds” associated with the train derailment, according to the Ohio Department of Agriculture and Ohio State University. STX acquires Missouri Prime Beef Packers

Texas-based STX Beef Company has purchased Missouri Prime Beef Packers, a 750 head per day facility in Pleasant Hope. In a press release, STX says it’s immediately taking over operations. CEO Terry Maul says Missouri has a thriving beef industry and the acquisition will help STX increase capacity. STX currently operates a 250,000 square foot facility that processes over 1,000 head of cattle per day in Corpus Christi. ...
