Blessing Hospital has made a change to its inpatient visiting guidelines.
Effective Tuesday, March 23, COVID positive patients may have one visitor per day, between the hours of 8 am and 8 pm, if the visitor is fully vaccinated. The visitor must have received their second dose of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine or single dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine more than 14 days before the visit. Visitors to COVID positive patients must bring proof of their vaccination and wear the Personal Protective Equipment they will be given by the hospital when entering the patient’s room.
For other patients, the current visiting hours remain in place: Non-COVID inpatients are allowed one visitor at a time in their room between 8 am and 8 pm.
Blessing will continue to follow all other visitor processes that are in place now to protect the safety of patients, employees and the public, which includes:
Dining options will continue to be limited for visitors. The Blessing Hospital cafeteria is closed to visitors, however, visitors are allowed to order take-out food from the Tea Room. Other options include BH Java at the main entrance, vending machines located throughout the hospital and guest food trays available for purchase through the patient room service program.
For additional information please view our full Visitor Guidelines on the Blessing Health System website at www.blessinghealth.org/treatments/visiting-guidelines-and-restrictions.
